Conclusion of the Headquarters for Athletes and Clubs

The Kula Municipality Emergency Situations Headquarters, with the aim of reducing the risk posed by the current epidemiological situation and enabling the resumption of training and competitions for elite athletes and other athletes (clubs) within the sports system, adopted a Conclusion allowing elite athletes and other athletes (clubs) within the sports system of the Republic of Serbia to train at all sports facilities in Kula Municipality (both outdoor and indoor facilities), as well as to hold competitions specified in the competition calendar.

Athletes’ training sessions may be held provided that all parties (athletes, coaches, authorized representatives of sports clubs and authorized representatives of sports facilities) ensure compliance with the following preventive measures:

I. Athletes must follow the following preventive measures upon arrival, departure and during training:

- athletes and coaches are advised to arrive at training individually, where possible already wearing their training clothes, and to avoid using changing rooms;
- shared auxiliary facilities, such as changing rooms and shower cubicles, may be used only if it is possible to disinfect the facility after each use;
- whenever possible, training sessions should be held outdoors;
- During individual training sessions, athletes are advised to maintain a distance of at least 5 meters;
- For training in contact sports where physical distance between the coach and athletes cannot be maintained, it is recommended that the same coach and athlete always train together;
- Athletes should use their own personal hygiene items (soap, towel, etc.);
- During training, athletes should use only their own water bottle; sports drinks and protein supplements should not be shared with anyone else (the same applies to any food they may consume during training);
- when not at training, athletes should observe all physical distancing measures as a preventive measure.

II. Training organizers, in cooperation with the responsible personnel and management of sports facilities, should observe the following preventive measures:

- for each training session, a system for keeping training records should be established (information about the coach, athletes, technical staff and other personnel involved in conducting the training session; training time and location);
- Upon arrival at training, the organizer should collect information from every athlete, coach and other technical and support staff participating in the training about any symptoms that may indicate a viral infection (fever, cough, fatigue, difficulty breathing, etc.). If anyone has any of these symptoms, the athlete should not be allowed into the facility; the athlete should instead leave the training session and be referred to a doctor;
- if any symptom indicating a COVID — 19 infection appears during training in any athlete, coach, technical staff member or other personnel at the training session, training must stop immediately and the person with symptoms must be referred to a doctor;
- The person organizing the training must provide a separate bin for all used plastic and other packaging, as well as paper tissues and towels. After training, its contents should be placed in a separately sealed plastic bag, which is then disposed of as municipal waste;
- hand sanitizers should be made available in the sports facility where training takes place or which is used for training;
- before and after each training session, the organizer must disinfect fixed sports equipment used by athletes during the training session;
- before and after every training session, all balls and other sports equipment used during training must be disinfected with a product containing at least 70% alcohol;
- The training organizer should keep a separate record of each training session, listing the names of everyone present for possible subsequent epidemiological contact tracing;
- Training organizers, in cooperation with the management of sports facilities, should ensure that there is a minimum interval of 15 minutes between the scheduled times of two training sessions;
- All enclosed spaces used by athletes, coaches, technical staff or other personnel should be regularly ventilated naturally by opening doors and windows. Weather permitting, windows may be kept open at all times to ensure natural ventilation;
- use of central air conditioning is not permitted;
- all persons working in facilities used by sports teams must wear protective masks at all times and comply with all other established preventive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19;

    III. Duration of training

- Training sessions last up to 20 hours on weekdays and weekends.
- The competition schedule should follow the previously established calendar.
