From 16 March 2021, citizens of Serbia will be able to make all payments for more than 300 services provided by the Ministry of the Interior relating to personal documents, as well as other services offered by the Ministry, electronically through the eGovernment “Pay” portal by creating a single payment slip.
The “Pay” service is available at www.plati.euprava.gov.rs, and on the website of the Ministry of the Interior, www.mup.gov.rs, under Citizens – Citizens’ Documents.
Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin, who attended a presentation of this service at the police station on Ljermontova Street, said that the Ministry of the Interior is the first government body to enable citizens to pay fees and charges for the services it provides simply and easily, without waiting in queues, using electronic means.
The minister noted that this new e-service from the Ministry of the Interior is important not only for citizens, but also for businesses and companies.
The “Pay” service will allow citizens to create a single payment slip through the eGovernment portal instead of filling out several payment slips, and pay for the service electronically using a Dina, Visa, MasterCard or Maestro card or integrated electronic banking.
They will also be able to make payments at police station counters, and will be able to use the single payment slip received through the “Pay” service to pay at banks and post offices.
