Due to the worsening epidemiological situation and an emergency directive from the Football Association of Serbia, the Football Association of Vojvodina has sent a warning to all clubs, urging them to strictly follow the Protocol for Organizing Matches in All Leagues under its jurisdiction in emergency circumstances caused by the spread of COVID-19 during the 2020/21 competition season. The protocol is available on the association’s website.
The warning emphasizes that particular attention should be paid to the maximum number of people permitted to attend a match. The protocol stipulates that a maximum of 90 people may attend a match: 36 players from both teams, 6 members of each coaching staff and six representatives of each club’s management, 4 referees and a referee observer, a delegate and commissioners—five in total, 6 ball collectors, two emergency medical personnel, one camera operator and three journalists, three technical staff members and five stewards. The Football Association of Vojvodina’s warning also requires the wearing of protective masks, a minimum physical distance of 2 meters, and mandatory disinfection and hygiene measures in the changing rooms.
Delegates have been instructed on how to implement all the measures listed above, and any failure to comply with the prescribed measures will be rated as poor organization of the match, in accordance with the provisions of the Disciplinary Regulations of the Football Association of Serbia.
