Chemical treatment to control ticks will be carried out on Monday

On Monday, 23.05.2022, “Ciklonizacija” AD Novi Sad will carry out chemical treatment to control ticks in public areas throughout the Municipality of Kula. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the treatment will be postponed until the following day.

Due to an increased tick infestation in the Great Park in central Kula, the surrounding pavements at the intersection of Lenin Street, Josip Kramer Street and Đura Strugar Street will also be treated. The treatment will be carried out between 13, 30 and 14, 30. Cyclonization advises residents not to remain at the specified locations during treatment and for the following hour. The treatment contains the active ingredient deltamethrin, whose effects last for one day. The product is toxic to bees.
