Traditional night-time small-sided football tournaments are one of summer’s hallmarks, so there is practically no place where small-sided football players do not take to the field during the summer. In the Municipality of Kula, the tournament season will be opened by the oldest one—in Crvenka. According to the organizers, the 59 annual traditional night-time small-sided football tournament “Crvenka 2020” is expected to begin in late June.
Players will compete in three categories: seniors, youth and veterans. Medals and trophies have been provided for the top performers in the youth categories, while seniors will compete for cash prizes. The prize fund for the Crvenka tournament is 230 thousand dinars. The winner will receive 150, the runner-up 50, and the third-place team 30 thousand dinars.
Teams interested in taking part in the traditional night-time tournament in Crvenka can register by 26 June, when the competition groups will also be formed and opponents drawn. According to the organizers, although the posters announced that the tournament would start on 27 June, administrative difficulties have delayed the start by a week, and the tournament will most likely begin on 4 July.
