Ground and aerial mosquito control treatments in the municipalities of Kula, Vrbas, Senta, Srbobran and Bački Petrovac will be carried out between 13 and 28 June, during the first period with favorable weather conditions, the Novi Sad-based company “Ciklonizacija” announced.
As stated, the treatments will use products based on lambda-cyhalothrin and deltamethrin. Beekeepers are warned that the product is toxic to bees and should close their hives or move them at least five kilometers away from the specified treatment areas. The product remains effective for one day.
