There will be sporting events over the weekend, as the spring part of the basketball championship has begun, while other sports teams are preparing for the rest of the season.
In round 13 of the First Serbian League championship, Hajduk’s basketball players host Topola from Bačka Topola. Understandably, Hajduk are targeting a win in their first spring appearance in front of their home supporters, as the visitors from Bačka Topola are near the bottom of the table. However, coach Danilo Borović points out that this does not reflect Topola’s true quality and that his players will have to give their all if they want to win. The game between Hajduk and Topola from Bačka Topola will be played tomorrow in the Petefi Brigada Primary School gymnasium, starting at 19.
Our football teams are in the midst of preparations, using friendly matches to assess their progress so far.
Hajduk’s footballers, members of the Serbian League, will face Vojvodina League leaders Sloga from Čonoplja tomorrow. The friendly match will be played tomorrow at the Vašarište grounds, kicking off at 14.
On Sunday, the Vojvodina League side Crvenka will host Tvrđava from Bač on their home ground, starting at 14 hours. In Ruski Krstur, Rusin and Kula will play a friendly match on Sunday from 13 hours, while Mladost, the home team, and Polet from Sivac will also meet on Sunday in Kruščić, starting at 14 hours.
