In the final round of the autumn half of the Super B League season, hosts Sivac 69 will face Crvenka in Sivac. The fact that this is a local derby means handball fans will be able to enjoy an exciting match. Sivac coach Branko Žeželj points out that his team’s form is clearly declining, while Crvenka are on a roll, and gives the “squirrels” the role of slight favorites. However, he also notes that derby matches are decided by inspiration on the day, which he believes will be on their side with support from the stands. Ahead of the derby in Sivac, Crvenka coach Miloš Mitrović says he expects his players to maintain the form they showed in their last 5-6 matches, both in the league and in the Cup, and if they meet those expectations, he is not worried about the final result. The match between Sivac and Crvenka will be played tomorrow in the hall in Sivac, starting at 19.
In the final round of the autumn half of the First League championship, women’s Handball Club “Krule” will host Spartak from Debeljača. The match will be played at the Sivac sports hall on Sunday, kicking off at 19 hours. Women’s Handball Club “Laki” from Crvenka will host Sloven from Ruma. Like Crvenka’s men’s handball team, Laki will play their home match against Sloven in Ruski Krstur, with the match starting tomorrow at 13 hours.
This weekend brings the eighth round of the championship for Hajduk’s men’s and women’s volleyball teams. In the eighth round of the Second League championship, Hajduk’s men will host Dunav Volley from Novi Sad. Men’s volleyball coach Milorad Lazić points out that after last week’s poorest performance so far this season, his players have an opportunity to improve their impression against the excellent Dunav Volley team, since it is clear that Hajduk’s players put in their best performances against the top teams. The match between Hajduk and Dunav Volley from Novi Sad will be played at the “Petefi brigada” Primary School sports hall on Sunday, kicking off at 20 hours.
In the eighth round of the First Vojvodina League championship, Hajduk’s women’s volleyball team will play away in Subotica, where they will face Spartak 2. The home team are favorites, while Hajduk’s players say they will try to take at least one set, which would mean a lot in boosting their confidence. The match between Spartak and Hajduk will be played in Subotica on Sunday, kicking off at 13 hours and 30 minutes.
In the tenth round of the Serbian First Regional League championship, Hajduk’s basketball players will play away in Ruma, where they will face Sloven. The team from Kula are certain to qualify for the upcoming playoffs, as they are second in the standings, while Sloven have no chance of making the playoffs. The points from this match therefore have no bearing on the standings, so Hajduk coach Danilo Borović will use the game in Ruma to give an opportunity to players who have had less playing time so far this season, while naturally expecting them to continue the winning streak. The match between Sloven and Hajduk will be played in Ruma on Sunday, starting at 17.
In the tenth round of the First Regional League championship, the Sivac women’s basketball team will play away against Vizura in Belgrade. The game will be played tomorrow, starting at 18 hours and 30 minutes. In the tenth round of the Second Regional League championship, the Sivac men’s basketball team will play away in Zrenjanin tomorrow, where they will face Petrograd at 14 hours and 30 minutes.
Hajduk’s bowlers, who currently lead the First Vojvodina League, visit “SPENS” in Novi Sad in the tenth round of the championship. The hosts are seventh in the standings, while the Kula team, aware of their position at the top, say they must give their all in Novi Sad and prove they are deservedly in first place. The “SPENS”–“Hajduk” bowling match will be played in Novi Sad on Sunday, starting at 15.
