Crvenka’s handball players defeated Inđija 23:20 in the 18 round of the Super B League in front of their home fans; the halftime score was 11:11. The victory was extremely important, as it came against a direct rival in the fight to avoid relegation. Crvenka’s handball players led throughout, with their biggest lead being five goals (18:13 in the 42 minute), so the win was never in doubt. Aleksandar Šveljo was Crvenka’s top scorer, with 7 goals. Branko Žeželj’s team played an excellent first half, ending it with a 22:13 lead. In the second half, satisfied with their commanding advantage, they relaxed and allowed the visitors to cut the deficit, but not to threaten their victory. In the final round of the Second Serbian Basketball League, Sivac lost 123:85 at home in Kula to table leaders Star from Novi Sad, while Crvenka had a rest because Kadet from Novi Sad did not travel to Crvenka for the match, so Crvenka were awarded a 20:0 win.
