In the second round of the Serbian Super League, Crvenka’s handball players disappointed, losing at home to Spartak from Subotica 28:22, with the half-time score 14:9 in favor of the Subotica team. Crvenka’s players entered the match without enough energy, which the experienced visitors knew how to punish, taking a five-goal lead midway through the first half and managing to hold on to it until the end to claim a deserved victory. Crvenka lacked fighting spirit, missed a large number of clear-cut chances, and the result was defeat. Crvenka’s handball players have recorded two defeats in the first two rounds, and in the third round of the Super League they travel to Pančevo to face Dinamo.

In the opening round of the Super B League, Sivac’s handball players lost away to Kolubara in Lazarevac 31:28, with the half-time score 14:11 in favor of the home team. According to Sivac coach Branko Žeželj, his team lacked a “cool head” in Lazarevac and lost because of numerous missed clear-cut chances; whenever they got within one goal, an error or a missed shot followed. Hajduk's basketball players disappointed, losing to Srem 69:47 away in Sremska Mitrovica in the second round of the First Serbian League championship. The score itself speaks most eloquently about Hajduk's performance. They scored just five points in the first quarter and eight in the fourth, and nothing but a defeat could have been expected. Hajduk coach Danilo Borović says his team started the game far too nervously, resulting in a very modest performance. But there is no time to dwell on it, as Hajduk face a Cup match against Topola in Bačka Topola on Wednesday, and in the next league round the team from Kula host Omladinac from Novi Banovci, giving them a chance to make amends.
