The fifth round of the Sombor District League has been played, and it was marked by a municipal derby in Lipar, where Lipar’s footballers beat Kula 2:1. Karin’s goals put Lipar ahead, then Mitrić scored for Kula to make the match more interesting, but the Kula team did not have enough strength to turn it around. Crvenka’s footballers recorded their fifth consecutive win. They hosted Stari Grad from Bačka Palanka, and with Crvenka leading 6:0, the match was stopped in the 55 minute because the visitors had too few players on the field. The visitors had arrived in Crvenka with only 11 players, who played the first half, which ended 5:0 in Crvenka’s favor. Stari Grad began the second half with 9 players, as two stayed in the dressing room. Then, in the very first minute of the second half, another visiting player left the field, and after the home team’s sixth goal, a fourth Stari Grad player simply sat down on the field, complaining of an injury. The match was therefore stopped and will be recorded with the score that stood at the time of the stoppage, namely 6:0 in Crvenka’s favor. Faćol scored three goals for Crvenka, Kerekeš scored twice, and Maleš scored one. Hajduk Junior beat Hercegovac 5:0 away in Gajdobra. The score says it all about the Kula team’s quality performance. The scorers for Hajduk Junior were Kulić, who scored twice, Vladan Vujović, Danojević and Pejaković. Rusin from Ruski Krstur also delighted their fans, beating Borac 4:3 in Bački Gračac, despite the home team leading 3:0 and having a numerical advantage from the 38 minute. However, goals from Čizmar, Branković, Juhik and Đukanović gave Rusin the win. Our sixth representative in the Sombor District League, Mladost from Kruščić, lost 8:0 away to Krila Krajine in Bačka Palanka. After five rounds, Crvenka top the standings with 15 points, Hajduk Junior are fourth with 10, Lipar sixth with 8, Mladost eighth with 7, Rusin tenth with 6, while Kula are last with no points.
