Sivac’s handball players suffered their first defeat in the fourth round of the Super B League. Away in Smederevo, they lost 29:28 to hosts Smederevo, despite winning the first half 15:12 and leading by two goals in the 55th minute—they were ahead 28:26. In the final minute, with the score tied at 28:28, Sivac had possession and, with 27 seconds left, won a suspension for a home player. However, Marjanović then committed a charging foul and, with only seconds remaining, obstructed play, for which he was given a direct red card and Smederevo were awarded a penalty. The hosts took advantage and snatched victory literally in the final second. Kalić with 7 goals and Beslać with six were Sivac’s top scorers. It should also be noted that Sivac goalkeeper Nikola Bogojević was injured in the 56th minute, and it is unclear when he will be able to return between the posts. Sivac 69 are currently fourth in the table with 5 points, and next round they host Jugović from Kać.
