Two rounds of the season have been played at this level. Hajduk Junior made a powerful start to its points campaign, recording two wins in the first two rounds. First, in their opening match in Bačka Palanka, the team from Kula beat Stari Grad 2:0, then yesterday, in front of their home fans in Kula, defeated Krila Krajine from Bačka Palanka 2:0, and lead the table with six points. We were at the match, and here is what we noted....
Our other district-league teams did not get off to such a good start. Lipar beat ŽAK from Sombor 2:0 in their opening match in front of their home fans, but lost 4:0 to BSK in Bački Brestovac away in the previous round. Mladost from Kruščić drew 2:2 with BSK from Bački Brestovac at home in the first round, then lost 4:2 to Borac in a local derby in Bački Gračac. Rusin from Ruski Krstur made a poor start, losing 1:0 at home to Krila Krajine from Bačka Palanka in the first round, and 2:0 away to Slavija in Pivnice in the second.
