In round 22 of the Serbian League Vojvodina, “Hajduk 1912” lost at home to “Tekstilac” from Odžaci by 0:4. Their sustained attacking pressure and dominance in midfield led to this result, which came as no surprise. Speaking about the match, “the Whites’” coach, Željko Račić, said the game had come at the worst possible time, and what happened on the pitch confirmed this.
Hajduk have a bye next round, providing an opportunity for a reset as they prepare for the upcoming league challenges. It should also be noted that Goran Potkozarac has left Hajduk. Along with Šakić, he was an important presence in midfield, which is another headache for coach Račić. After round 22, Hajduk are sixth in the table with 31 points.
