Property tax is paid in four installments—the first by 15 February, the second by 15 May, the third by 15 August, and the last by 15 November.
For each day that payment of property tax is late, the taxpayer must pay interest; avoiding payment of the tax is punishable by a fine of 5.000 dinars.
