Results of the third round

In the third round of the Serbian League championship, Vojvodina group, Hajduk's footballers suffered their first defeat. Away in Sremska Mitrovica, Hajduk 1912 lost 1:0 to the hosts, Radnički. Kula's team are currently fifth in the table with 6 points, and in the next round they host Radnički 1912 from Sombor.

Crvenka's footballers also had an unsuccessful outing: in the third round of the Vojvodina League, North group, they lost 3:0 away to the hosts, Krila Krajine, in Bačka Palanka. The score speaks for itself about what happened on the pitch. Crvenka are thirteenth in the table with one point, and in the fourth round of the championship they host Tekstilac from Odžaci in front of their home fans.

In the third round of the Sombor District League championship, Rusin’s footballers defeated Polet from Karavukovo 7:2 in Ruski Krstur. Rusin secured a convincing win only in the second half, as Polet had taken the first half 1:0. But in the second half, Branković’s three goals, two from Davidović, and one each from Filip Vujović and veteran Đukanović earned Rusin a deserved victory. They are currently seventh in the standings with 4 points, and in the next round they visit Hercegovac in Gajdobra.

The third round of the First Division of the Sombor Intermunicipal League was marked by a municipal derby in Sivac, where hosts Polet defeated Mladost from Kruščić 4:0. Experienced Radomir Romić and Dragan Medojević scored two goals each to secure Polet’s win. Lipar’s footballers disappointed, losing 2:1 to Partizan from Kupusina in front of their home fans. The experienced visiting team took advantage of both their chances and led 2:0, before Novakov’s goal merely reduced Lipar’s deficit. Our fourth representative at this level, Kula’s footballers, lost 4:1 away to Zadrugar in Srpski Miletić. Kula’s consolation goal was scored by young Dimitrije Šarac. Polet are currently third in the standings with 7 points, Kula are eighth with 4, while Lipar are eleventh and Mladost fourteenth, each with 3 point. In the next round, another municipal derby is scheduled: Kula will play Lipar in Kula, Polet will host Zadrugar from Srpski Miletić in Sivac, and Mladost will host Jedinstvo from Ribarevo in Kruščić.
