Schedule for the traditional lighting of the Yule log in the Municipality of Kula

Christmas Eve will once again be celebrated solemnly this year in all the settlements of the municipality of Kula, with the traditional lighting of the yule log.

In Kula, the blessing and lighting of the yule log will, as before, take place at two locations. At the Church of Saint Mark, the blessing and lighting of the yule log will begin at 15, while in Jaroš, organized by Kula’s local communities, the yule log will be lit from 19, with live music, mulled wine and tea.

In Sivac, in the schoolyard next to the Church of St. Nicholas, the lighting of the Yule log will take place at 15.

In Crvenka, in the grounds of the Church of Saint Sava, the yule log will be blessed and lit from 16, while in Nova Crvenka it will be lit from 17.

The yule log will be lit in Kruščić at 17.30 in the village center.

In Lipar, the yule log will be lit in front of the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God in the village center, starting at 18.

The burning of the Yule log will also take place in Ruski Krstur tomorrow, with the log to be lit in the village center at 17.
