Today’s programme includes a local football derby in the third round of the Sombor District League championship. Crvenka and Hajduk Junior from Kula will meet in Crvenka. Crvenka, newcomers to the District League, have made an excellent start to the season with two wins, and will surely want to continue that winning streak in front of their fans. Hajduk Junior, meanwhile, will be looking to confirm their ambitions for a high finish with a strong performance. These factors suggest that a very exciting and closely contested match lies ahead. The Crvenka–Hajduk Junior match at Crvenka Stadium will start today at 16 hours and 30 minutes.
Our other district-league teams will take the field tomorrow and the day after. Kula's footballers visit Stanišić tomorrow. The home team has won both of its first two matches, while Kula has recorded two defeats, so it is understandable that Stanišić are favorites. On Sunday, Lipar will host Stari Grad from Bačka Palanka in front of their own fans, and after two opening draws, Lipar are determined to record their first win. Mladost from Kruščić will visit Hercegovac in Gajdobra on Sunday, while Rusin from Ruski Krstur will also visit Budućnost in Mladenovo on Sunday. All these matches will start at 16 hours and 30 minutes.
Today, as part of the 24 edition of the “Slobodan Vilotić Ćele” Memorial Tournament, organized by the Football Association of Serbia in memory of this renowned coach and football instructor, the youth national teams of Israel and Hungary will meet at the stadium in Kula. The players were born in 1999 or later. In addition to today’s match, which kicks off at 17 and has free admission, Hajduk Junior Football Club, with the support of the Municipality of Kula, will also have the honour of hosting tomorrow’s match between the youth national teams of Serbia and Ukraine. That match, to be played tomorrow at the “Milan Sredanović” Stadium, will kick off at 17, with free admission.
