Kula Municipal President Damjan Miljanić visited the settlement of Nova Crvenka on the occasion of the completion of work to replace the water supply network. In the preceding period, the water supply network was replaced across half of the settlement, and with the completion of this work, Nova Crvenka will be fully covered by a new water supply network. As a reminder, the Municipality of Kula was awarded approximately 28 million dinars to finance the project “Construction of the water supply network in the settlement of Nova Crvenka – completion of Phase One and Phase Two.”
The municipal president pointed out that Nova Crvenka is the smallest settlement in our municipality, but far from the place where the least investment is made, and that investment in the water supply network is part of a comprehensive investment cycle. Miljanić also emphasized that work to replace the water supply network in Lipar is due to begin, while, according to plans, replacement of part of the network in the settlements of Kula, Crvenka, and Sivac is set to begin in the second half of April:
“Work to replace the water supply network here in Nova Crvenka is practically being completed. It was financed through the Capital Investment Administration and partly from the municipal budget. In this way, the entire water supply network in this settlement will effectively be completed. The contract is also expected to be signed during March, which will allow work to begin on replacing the water supply network in Lipar, where most of the funding was provided by the Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture, with part provided by the local government. This is a major undertaking, given that the value of the work is more than 60 million dinars, and household connections will also be installed. A public procurement process has been launched, and work is planned to begin in the second half of April to replace part of the water supply network in the settlements of Kula, Crvenka, and Sivac. The total value of all the aforementioned work is slightly more than 400 million dinars, and the ultimate goal is to replace the entire water supply network throughout the Municipality of Kula.”
