In the 19 round of the Super B League championship, Crvenka’s handball players crushed Morava from Velika Plana in front of their fans, winning 40:25, halftime 21:13. It was a one-sided contest, as the final score confirms. The in-form backs Feješ and Nikolić, the consistently effective Bošković and Račić, supported by goalkeeper Pavićević, proved an unsolvable puzzle for the players from Velika Plana. Crvenka’s top scorer was young centre back Leo Feješ, who scored 8 goals and was named player of the match.
Our other Super League side, Sivac 69, hosted Voždovac, a team that has already said goodbye to the top flight, at their home ground in Sivac. A win for Sivac’s handball players was expected, but they claimed just one point instead of two, as the match ended in a 32:32 draw. Sivac started well and had a four-goal lead in the 21th minute, leading 13:9, but as time went on the determined visitors cut into the lead and took the lead late in the first half, going into the break two goals ahead at 18:16. When Voždovac went four goals ahead in the opening minutes of the second half, it was clear that coach Branko Žeželj’s players would have to give it everything to win. And that is exactly what they did: as a result, Sivac took a 31:30 lead in the 59th minute. The visitors equalised, then Kolarić gave Sivac the lead again with about fifteen seconds remaining. The visitors took a so-called quick centre and managed to shoot in the final second. The referees judged that the shooting player had been fouled and awarded a penalty, which the visitors converted to make the final score 32:32. Sivac’s top scorer was Marko Čabai with 10 goals, while Sivac pivot Ilija Kolarić, who scored 9 goals, was named player of the match.
After nineteen rounds, Crvenka is fifth in the table with 20, while Sivac 69 is ninth with 15 points. In the next round, Crvenka visits Smederevo, while Sivac 69 visits Vrbas Petrol.
In the 20 round of the First League championship, the young Crvenka team Laki beat Mladost from Srpska Crnja 29:27 in front of their home fans; the halftime score was 13:13. Coach Zoran Lovre’s players performed well in the first half and at one point had a three-goal lead, but their visitors, as they say, were constantly breathing down their necks, managing to catch up, so the teams went into the break tied at 13:13. In the second half, Mladost’s handball players played with greater confidence and gradually took the lead as the match progressed. In the 48 minute, they were four goals ahead, with the score at 25:21 in Mladost’s favor. However, they ran out of steam toward the end of the match, and the young Crvenka players took advantage, turning Mladost’s 27:25 lead in the 55 minute into a 4:0 run and ultimately celebrating a well-deserved victory. Laki’s top scorer was Anželi Lovre, who scored 9 goals and was named Player of the Match.
Our other first-division team, the “Krule” Women’s Handball Club from Sivac, played away against Jabuka. Jabuka’s handball players won 25:22, halftime 14:12. The Sivac players travelled to the match with just seven players, so they had no substitutes, and this affected the final result. The match was evenly balanced, as shown by the fact that the score was tied 20:20 in the 46 minute. However, Krule ran out of steam towards the end, and Jabuka’s players kept their composure, scoring five goals and conceding only two in the remaining fourteen minutes to claim victory. Krule’s top scorer was Milica Rabrenović with 11 goals.
After twenty rounds of the championship, Krule is seventh in the table with 15, while Laki is ninth with 12 points. In the next round, Krule will host Mladost from Srpska Crnja in Sivac, while Laki will host Spartak from Debeljača.

According to Hajduk head coach Željko Račić, this was a disappointing performance by his players.
