In the fifth round of the Super B League championship, Sivac’s handball players drew 34:34 away to Morava in Velika Plana, with Morava leading 15:14 at halftime. The teams traded the lead in the first half; Sivac led by two in the 20 minute, with the score at 12:10, but then went through a 5-minute spell without scoring, allowing the hosts to take the lead into halftime. The teams mostly traded goals in the second half, until Morava went three goals ahead in the 45 minute (26:23), and it seemed the hosts were closer to victory. This was especially so given that they entered the final minute with a two-goal lead. But goals from Slavuljica and Čabai from a penalty earned Sivac a point. Čabai was Sivac’s top scorer with 12 goals. Sivac are currently seventh in the table with 4 points, and host Vrbas Petrol in the next round.

In the fourth round of the first-league championship for women’s handball, Laki from Crvenka visited Ruma, where they were defeated 29:17 by the hosts. Hajduk’s footballers hosted Jedinstvo from Stara Pazova in the 16 round of the Serbian League, Vojvodina Group, and shared the points in a 1:1 draw. Kula took the lead in the first half with a goal from top scorer Nikola Furtula, but in the second half Jedinstvo’s more purposeful play was rewarded with a goal, and they deservedly took a point from Kula. Hajduk are currently fourteenth in the league table and visit Radnički in Sombor in the next round.

Crvenka earned a valuable victory in the northern group of the Vojvodina League when, in the 14 round of the championship, they beat Vojvodina from Tovariševo 3:0 at home. Crvenka made a brilliant start and took a 2:0 lead after just ten minutes with goals from Babić and Milan Subotić. Late in the match, Bešić scored to set the final result. Crvenka are thirteenth in the table with 15 points and will visit Vrbas in the next round.

The visitors took the lead in the first minute, but Lipar players Tutić and Mijić ensured there would be no upset, scoring goals for a ninth consecutive victory. Kula lost 1:0 away to Terekveš in Svilajevo, while Kruščić’s Mladost were beaten 8:0 by hosts Omladinac in Deronje. Our fourth representative at this level of competition, Polet from Sivac, had a bye this round. Lipar are second in the standings with 30 points, Polet are fourth with 21, Kula are sixth with 19, and Mladost are last with minus two points. In the final round of the autumn season, Lipar travel to OFK Odžaci, Kula host Omladinac from Deronje, Polet host league leaders Bratstvo from Prigrevica in Sivac, and Mladost host Hajduk from Stapar in Kruščić.

In the sixth round of the First Serbian League championship, Hajduk’s basketball players defeated I Came to Play 90:89 away in Novi Sad. Hajduk played brilliantly in the first half and took it 63:44, and few could have expected the finish to be dramatic. The players from Kula played well in the first half, but poorly in the second, allowing the hosts to take the lead. However, in the closing moments, Hajduk showed character: three seconds before the end, Jokanović made a free throw to secure the win for Hajduk. Ognjen Jokanović was also Hajduk’s top scorer with 23 points, while Marinković, Bajić, Lješević and Rnić also put in good performances. With a record of 4 wins and two losses, Hajduk’s basketball players are second in the standings, and they host Topola from Bačka Topola in the next round.
