The football season for clubs from the Kula municipality is supposed to start on 15 August. We say “supposed to,” because whether it does will depend on the epidemiological situation. In any case, the clubs are preparing for the upcoming season, and used the past weekend to assess their progress in friendly matches. Serbian League side Hajduk 1912 was scheduled to play a friendly against Tekstilac in Odžaci, but the match was not held due to the epidemiological situation. The team from Kula will have another fitness test tomorrow, when they play Vojvodina League side Jedinstvo of Rumenka at Vašarište, starting at 18.
Vojvodina League side Crvenka played a friendly match against Sombor District League member Polet in Sivac on Sunday. The match ended in a draw, with the final score 4:4. Kerekeš scored three goals for Crvenka and Latinović one, while Romić scored twice and Marković and Josović scored one each for Polet. Crvenka will play their next friendly tomorrow, hosting Rusin from Ruski Krstur.
And speaking of the district league side from Krstur, on Sunday Rusin played a friendly match in Ruski Krstur against Lipar, a member of the Sombor Intermunicipal League First Division. Lipar won 3:0, with goals scored by Nestorović, Novaković and Đukić from the penalty spot. Next weekend, Lipar are expected to play BSK from Bački Brestovac, while Sivac’s Polet are expected to take on Budućnost from Gložan.
