Sivac's handball players recorded their second league victory in the Super B League. In the third round of the championship, Sivac 69 beat Belgrade team Voždovac 32:26 in front of their home fans. The winner was already clear after the first half, which Sivac won 20:11. In the 34 minute, Branko Žeželj's team were leading by as many as 12 goals, with the score at 24:12, but then they inexplicably let up, allowing the visitors to close the gap to just three goals in the 58 minute. However, they did not have the strength to complete a comeback, and Sivac earned a deserved win. Kalić was Sivac's top scorer with 11 goals. Sivac 69 are third in the table with 5 points, and next round they travel to Smederevo.
Our other representative in the Super B League, Crvenka’s handball team, lost to Mačva in Bogatić in the third round, 27:24, with the halftime score 14:9. Crvenka got off to a poor start; the home team quickly took a 6:1 lead and then maintained it with routine play. Savić, Dragiša Račić, and Nešić scored four goals each for Crvenka. Crvenka is eighth in the standings with 2 points, and in the fourth round they travel to Vrbas to face league leaders Vrbas Petrol.
Hajduk’s footballers have now recorded their sixth consecutive defeat. In the eighth round of the Serbian League, Vojvodina group, Hajduk hosted league leaders Železničar from Pančevo in Kula. The visitors proved their quality and deservedly beat Hajduk 2:0 in Kula. Hajduk is thirteenth in the standings with 6 points, and in the next round they will visit Bratstvo in Prigrevica.
Crvenka’s footballers also had an unsuccessful outing in the eighth round of the Northern group of the Vojvodina League, playing away in Čonoplja, where they faced league leaders Sloga. In the eighth round of the Sombor District League, Rusin’s footballers from Ruski Krstur visited Ratkovo, where they lost 5:2 to hosts Radnički. Davidović and Veselinović scored for Rusin in Ratkovo. Rusin’s footballers are ninth in the standings with 11 points, and in the next round they host OFK Omladinac from Bukovac in Ruski Krstur.
Our representatives in the Sombor Intermunicipal League, First Division, did well, with all four teams winning in the eighth round of the championship. Kula defeated OFK Odžaci 4:0 at Geder. The result was expected, as Odžaci have not earned a point so far this season. Đorđe Bukelović scored three goals for Kula, while young Dimitrije Šarac also found the net. Lipar defeated BSK from Bački Gračac 3:1 in front of their own fans. Kovač scored twice for Lipar, and Lazić once. Mladost defeated Hajduk from Stapar 3:1 in Kruščić. The match was marked by a hat-trick from Miloš Rabrenović, who scored twice from open play and once from the penalty spot. In the first round of the First Serbian League championship, Hajduk’s basketball team lost to Nova Pazova 99:87 in front of their home fans in Kula, with Nova Pazova leading 50:41 at halftime. According to Hajduk coach Danilo Borović, the visitors deserved their win, with offensive rebounds and their better shooting percentage proving decisive. One possible reason was that Hajduk center Ivelja did not play. Young Tešović was Hajduk’s best player with 23 points and 13 rebounds, while experienced Bajić, as well as Marinković and Leovac, also put in good performances. In the second round, Hajduk travels to Bačka Topola.
