In the third round of the Serbian Super League, Crvenka's handball players lost 32:29 away to Dinamo in Pančevo. The home side justified its status as the favorite, although it must be said that Crvenka's handball players put up excellent resistance against Dinamo, who, along with Vojvodina from Novi Sad, are favorites to win the trophies. Crvenka's handball players played responsibly and with discipline, winning the first half 18:17. The teams continued trading goals in the second half, but in the closing stages the home side's experience proved decisive, enabling them to claim victory. Crvenka coach Vladimir Zejak says that despite the defeat he is pleased with his players' performance, noting that the game in Pančevo is the path Crvenka should follow, and points will come. Crvenka's top scorer was pivot Dragiša Račić, with 10 goals, while captain Ognjen Radonjić scored seven times. After three rounds, Crvenka is bottom of the standings without a point, and will host Kikinda in the next round.
In the second round of the Super B League championship, Sivac’s handball players beat Mačva from Bogatić 32:31, with the halftime score at 13:13. Judging by the score alone, the match might seem to have been dramatic. But it was not. The first half was mostly goal for goal, but in the second half Sivac’s handball players showed their true mettle, and in the 48 minute they had a nine-goal lead—the score was 28:19. It was then clear that the points would stay in Sivac. The fact that the final margin was only one goal was due partly to the home players easing up, but also to some refereeing decisions, since from the time they had a nine-goal lead until the end of the match, Sivac played with one player fewer. Marko Čabai was Sivac’s top scorer, with 14 goals, while captain Vitomir Kalić scored 6. With two points, Sivac’s handball players are currently eighth in the standings, and in the next round they travel to face Voždovac.
Thirteen was a lucky number for Hajduk's footballers. The Hajduk players ended a run of four consecutive defeats and, in the 13 round of the Serbian League, Vojvodina Group, celebrated a victory away in Pećinci in their match against Feniks – the result was 4:1 in Hajduk's favor. Although the home side took the lead in the 30 minute, the players from Kula did not give up, and Furtula equalized in the 40 minute from a penalty, then young Božović put Hajduk ahead by a goal at halftime in the 43 minute. Hajduk continued its excellent performance in the second half, while the home side was unable to turn the result around. The “Hajduks” took advantage, with goals from Božović in the 83 minute and Furtula in the 90 minute securing a valuable victory. Hajduk is currently eleventh in the standings with 17 points, and will host Radnički from Zrenjanin at home in the next round.
In the 11 round of the Northern Group of the Vojvodina League, Crvenka's footballers lost 1:0 away to Bačka in Pačir. Crvenka's coaching staff opted for a strengthened defense and counterattacks to threaten the home side's goal, and this was working well, but Babić, Božičević and Milan Subotić failed to convert their good chances. Then, in the 87 minute, after Babić made a mistake by dribbling in front of his own goal, Bačka's players won the ball and earned a corner, from which they scored the winning goal. Crvenka's footballers are currently thirteenth in the standings with 11 points, and in the 12 round they will host Hercegovac from Gajdobra.
In the derby of the eleventh round of the Sombor District League, played in Stanišić, league leaders Stanišić defeated Rusin from Ruski Krstur 4:2. Danojević and Kovačević scored for Rusin. Despite the defeat, Rusin coach Ranko Delić is not dissatisfied with his team’s performance, considering that Rusin’s footballers train less because of fieldwork. After the defeat in Stanišić, Rusin is fourth in the standings with 22 points, and will host Radnički from Ratkovo in Ruski Krstur in the next round.
