Crvenka defeated in Apatin

Crvenka's handball team secured a valuable victory in the sixth round of the Super B League. Playing away in Smederevo, Crvenka defeated hosts Smederevo 27:25. Smederevo held on only for the first fifteen minutes or so, when the score was 8:8, but then Crvenka stepped up the pace and finished the first half ahead 16:11. That lead proved insurmountable for Smederevo, and Crvenka secured the win with a routine performance in the second half. Radonjić and Slavljuljica were Crvenka's top scorers, with six goals each, while young Čabrilo and Nešić scored five apiece. Crvenka is currently ninth in the standings with 4 points, and will host Jugović from Kać in the next round.

Our other Super League team, Sivač 69, lost 33:31 away to Lavovi in Bačka Palanka.
