Curfew from Friday at 18 o’clock until Monday at 5 in the morning

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić believes the government will not change its decision for the coming weekend and that a movement ban will be in force from Friday at 18 until Monday at 5 in the morning.

“As for next weekend, there will be no easing of restrictions—I know there must not be. I listened to the doctors yesterday and the day before, as I have throughout these days, and they support extending the movement ban for at least another two weeks, especially on weekends when crowds are largest,” Vučić explained.

He said that we are paying the price for the lack of discipline 21 days ago, when there were many people out on the streets over the weekend.

“All the better results we have today are thanks to the good weekends two weeks and one week ago. It is certain that the government will not change its decision this weekend, and the movement ban will be in force from Friday 18 until Monday at 5 in the morning. I assume it will be the same. We’ll see later, depending on the epidemiological situation, how we proceed,” Vučić said.
