The spring half of the Super League handball championship begins

The weekend in sports will be marked by the start of the spring half of the Super League handball championship, with a derby in the very first round. In the 12. round of the Super B League championship, handball players from Sivac will travel to Bogatić to take on Mačva. This is the round’s derby, as Mačva is second and Sivac is 69 third, just one point behind leaders Jugović.

The camp of the Sivac Super League side is aware of how difficult the match will be. They know the hosts will want to make the most of home advantage, but stress that they will give everything to confirm their excellent autumn form. The match between Mačva and Sivac will be played in Bogatić on Sunday, kicking off at 19 hours and 30 minutes. Our other Super League side, Crvenka, has a bye in the first round of the spring part of the season, as it was due to play Požarevac, but the Požarevac team has withdrawn from the competition.

The 16 round of the basketball championship is scheduled for this weekend.

In the 16. round of the First Serbian League championship, Hajduk’s basketball players were due to travel to Veternik to face Mladost Veternik, but the home team withdrew from the competition, so Hajduk’s players can prepare at their leisure for their next match, when they will host Sloboda from Novi Sad in Kula in the 17. round.

In round 16 of the Second Serbian Basketball League, Sivac will host Beočin. This is a clash between mid-table teams, and Sivac believe they can make the most of their home-court advantage. The Sivac–Beočin game will be played at the Sivac sports hall on Sunday and will tip off at 17.

In the 15. round of the Serbian League of Bowling Clubs — Vojvodina group, Hajduk’s bowlers will host Vihor from Sombor. The team from Kula needs a win in its fight to stay in the league. The match between Hajduk and Vihor from Sombor will be played at the bowling alley in Vrbas on Sunday, starting at 16 o’clock.
