The “Sweet Days” festival begins: Saša Matić in concert tonight, program for the youngest tomorrow

Everything is ready for the start of the widely beloved “Sweet Days” festival, which has now become a tradition and is held every May in Crvenka. This year, too, it will last three days—from today, 10 May, until Sunday, 12 May.

The main events of this festival are certainly the concerts. Saša Matić will perform tonight, followed by Tanja Savić tomorrow and Maja Berović on Sunday. The concerts start at 21, while a DJ and the NS Party Team will entertain the audience from 19.45.

On Saturday, the program will begin at 11 with a parade of entertainers, majorettes, stilt walkers, jugglers and Crvenka’s youngest residents. Pupils from Vuk Karadžić Elementary School in Crvenka, children from the kindergarten and students from the Kula School of Basic Music Education will take part. The choir will perform some of the most beautiful songs, including the musical stage performance “Dreams in a Swing.” The event will be officially opened by Kula Municipality President Damjan Miljanić, followed by sports activities for the youngest visitors.

During all three days, visitors will be able to browse interesting stalls featuring sweet treats presented by local associations and small producers, schools, and other institutions.

As in previous years, free transport has been arranged this year from all the settlements in Kula Municipality for all three days. Buses depart from the stations—Lipar and Ruski Krstur at 19, Kruščić at 19.15, and Kula and Sivac at 19.30. The return departure is 30 minutes after the concert ends.

We remind you that until Monday, 13 May at 13, Moše Pijade Street will be closed—from the intersection with Ivana Milutinovića Street to the intersection with Marshal Tito Street.
