The football season begins

The football championship for teams from the Municipality of Kula starts this weekend.

In the opening round of the Serbian League, Vojvodina group, “Hajduk” will host “Omladinac” from Novi Banovci in Kula. According to Hajduk coach Zoran Ćirić, they will be facing a strong team that is aiming for first place and promotion to the First League. Hajduk also has a very strong squad, is playing in front of its own fans, and for all these reasons he believes the season opener will be a success. The match between “Hajduk 1912” and “Omladinac” from Novi Banovci will be played tomorrow at “Milan Sredanović” Stadium, kicking off at 17.

In the first round of the Vojvodina League, North group, “Crvenka” will travel to Tavankut to face the team of the same name. Crvenka are entering the new season with a weaker squad, as numerous players have left the club. Kočić and Dragović have joined Pannonia, Vujović has moved to “Rusin” from Ruski Krstur, Radmanović has gone to Croatia, Manojlović to Lovćenac, Bulatović to Prigrevica, and Faćol and Kerekeš to Novi Sad’s “Mladost”; the loan deals for Marić and Đačić have also expired. New arrivals at Crvenka include Latinović from Odžaci’s “Tekstilac,” Fekete from Kruščić, and Rakočević and Bošković from Sivac’s “Polet.” Given all this, Crvenka’s aim is to remain in the Vojvodina League.
