In the previous period, the local government announced the asphalting of many streets and roads in various parts of the Municipality of Kula. On that occasion, the President of the Municipality of Kula emphasized that the local government’s policy focuses on all populated areas of the municipality and that even its smaller communities will not be neglected. Today, work began on asphalting Lenin Street in Nova Crvenka. On this occasion, the President of the Nova Crvenka Local Community Council, Milorad Tunguz, said he was extremely grateful to the local government, and especially to the municipal president, given that asphalting the street was his initiative. Tunguz added that the idea was put forward a few months ago and that work began today on asphalting more than 650 meters of the street.
Dejan Aleksić, representing the Kula Municipal Traffic Council, noted that this is just one of a number of streets that will be repaired as part of the regular works planned for this year. In addition to the paving work being carried out in Nova Crvenka, potholes are also being patched at several locations. After this work, repairs are planned for streets in Kula and Ruski Krstur, Aleksić said.
The work currently underway, as well as the work to be carried out in the coming period, is aimed at improving the safety of road users and is part of the regular maintenance of roads in the municipality of Kula.
