Aid package distribution to pensioners begins in Kula

Distribution of aid packages to the most vulnerable pensioners began today in Kula. More than two thousand pensioners with incomes below 30.000,00 dinars will receive this assistance at home. Volunteers are starting to distribute the packages today, and Milan Kondić, secretary of the “Gornji grad” Local Community, who is coordinating the entire initiative in Kula, said everything is ready and that pensioners will receive their packages by the end of the week. “We have enough volunteers, we’re working by district, and all pensioners—around 2150 people in Kula with the lowest incomes—will certainly receive assistance by the end of the week,” Kondić said.

It should be noted that this type of assistance, funded mostly by the Kula Municipality and partly by donors, will also be provided to pensioners in all the other settlements who receive the aforementioned benefits.
