The Municipality of Kula informs residents that starting tomorrow, 4. June, ground-based mosquito larvicide treatment will be carried out in canals and ponds in the settlements of our municipality. The treatment is not harmful to bees, while local communities throughout the Municipality of Kula will be provided with BTI tablets, a highly selective biocide that acts only on mosquito larvae. The tablets are used in households wherever there is standing water (septic tanks, rainwater tanks, water barrels, basements, etc.), and detailed instructions for use and dosage are provided on each package. The mosquito larvicide treatment will be carried out by “Ciklonizacija” from Novi Sad.
