Applications for tourist vouchers open tomorrow

Applications for citizens to use vouchers for holidays in Serbia can be submitted from tomorrow at counters of the public postal service, Pošta Srbije, throughout the country. Citizens of Serbia have 400.000 new vouchers available, which they can use until November 20 this year.

Amendments to the Regulation on the Use of Vouchers have expanded the possibility of using accommodation vouchers at hospitality establishments throughout the country, without exception (Belgrade and Novi Sad were previously excluded), and raised the income limit for employed persons, as well as for disabled war veterans and civilian war-disabled persons, from 60.000 to 70.000 dinars.

Another new feature is the expanded eligibility for vouchers, which now includes first-, second- and third-cycle students.

When submitting an application for a voucher, students must provide an original certificate from their higher education institution confirming their status as a first-, second- or third-cycle student for the current academic year, as well as a photocopy of the first or second page of their student ID, showing their photograph and personal details.
