From 1 May, partial resumption of air and intercity transport

President Aleksandar Vučić expects partial resumption of air and intercity transport around 1 May, and partial reopening of urban transport after 4 May.

“It all depends on what the doctors say, and if everything is all right,” Vučić added.

He adds that, to begin with, routes could be established to airports in Europe and around the world that are open.

“As for urban transport, not all 100 of capacity will be restored immediately, but rather in proportion to the number of people working—if 50 or 60 percent of people or companies are working, that much capacity will be restored, he says. The strictest measures will also have to be in place on urban transport. It will be hard to board public transport without a mask, and we will try to avoid crowds at all costs,” Vučić added.
