Treatments against mosquito larvae and adult mosquitoes, from the ground and by air, will be carried out in the Kula municipality between 11 and 26 June 2015, the Novi Sad-based company “Ciklonizacija” announced.
As stated, the exact location and time of treatment will depend on monitoring and weather conditions. The products to be used are “Icon” and “Ti-bi,” with the active ingredient lambda-cyhalothrin. Beekeepers are warned that the product is toxic to bees and should close their hives or move them at least five kilometres from the treatment sites listed.
The product remains effective for three days.
