Children’s playgrounds continue to be installed in the Municipality of Kula, with one recently set up in Nova Crvenka. The playground was visited by Kula Mayor Damjan Miljanić, who noted that several more playgrounds are currently being prepared—at Mali Stapar, next to the Petefi Brigada Primary School, and a large, modern playground near the “Lamela” buildings:
“Last year we installed playgrounds in almost every settlement. At the time there wasn’t one in Nova Crvenka. This year one has been installed here too, although it is not yet completely finished and some details are still missing. This year we also have a large playground at Mali Stapar; one is currently being assembled in the yard of the Petefi Brigade Primary School, and soon a large, modern playground will be installed in the center of Kula, near ‘Lamela.’ This means that at least one new playground will be built in every settlement.” He also looked back on the previous year, when all settlements in the municipality received new playgrounds, noting that today our municipality has the largest number of children’s playgrounds it has had in several decades:
,,Overall, last year and this year, we have built two new playgrounds in Sivac—one in Sivac and the other in Mali Stapar—as well as one new playground each in Kruščić, Ruski Krstur and Crvenka. Lipar also has a modern playground with a tartan surface. There are also playgrounds in Jaroš, by the Petefi Brigada Primary School, at Geder, and practically two new ones in Gornji Grad. So, new children’s playgrounds have been built in every populated place. Existing ones are being repaired and new ones added, and we now have the largest number of children’s playgrounds we’ve had in the past ten to thirty years. This trend will continue: we will keep installing new playgrounds in preschools and schools, and the idea is for every populated place, even the smallest, to get at least one new playground each year.”
