The coming weekend will also be all about football. In the sixth round of the Serbian League, Vojvodina Group, Hajduk hosts Dunav from Stari Banovci. Looking at the table, where Hajduk is fourth with 10 and Dunav is eighteenth with three points, Kula’s team is certainly the favorite. This is also because they will host Dunav on their home ground, where they have won their previous three league matches. However, Hajduk coach Slobodan Bačić warns his players, pointing out that although the visitors have made a somewhat weaker start, they are a team of young and talented players, and the match against Dunav will be no easier than the previous ones. Hajduk’s players will have to give their utmost if they want to win. The match between Hajduk and Dunav from Stari Banovci will be played tomorrow at the Milan Sredanović Stadium, kicking off at 16.
In the sixth round of the Vojvodina League, North Group, Crvenka’s footballers host Tekstilac from Odžaci. Crvenka and Tekstilac are eleventh and twelfth in the table with 5 points each, although the Odžaci team has a game in hand. Crvenka believe their home-ground advantage will help and are predicting a win against familiar opponents. The match between Crvenka and Tekstilac from Odžaci will be played tomorrow at the Milorad Džomba Stadium, kicking off at 16.
The Sombor District League leaders, Rusin, host Budućnost from Gložan in the sixth round of the championship. Over the previous five rounds, the team from Ruski Krstur recorded four wins and one draw, remaining unbeaten. They are playing at home, so it is entirely understandable that they say they will remain at the top of the table after their match against the team from Gložan. The match between Rusin and Budućnost from Gložan will be played in Ruski Krstur on Sunday, kicking off at 16.
In the fourth round of the Sombor Intermunicipal League First Division championship, three of the four representatives from our municipality are playing at home, and only Mladost from Kruščić is away. Tomorrow, the Kruščić team visits Kupusina, where it will face Partizan. The hosts are bottom of the table without a point, while the Kruščić players, buoyed by their win in the previous round, are predicting another success. Our other three teams will take the field on Sunday. Kula hosts Jedinstvo from Ribarevo at the Geder ground, Lipar hosts Terekveš from Svilojevo, who have yet to earn a single point, while Polet hosts Hajduk from Stapar in Sivac. Our teams are expected to win, and all the announced matches kick off at 16.
