Our handball Super League teams are working hard to prepare for the resumption of the championship

Our handball Super League team is working hard in preparation for the resumption of the championship. After completing a short training camp in Kanjiža, Crvenka’s handball players, members of the Serbian ARKUS Super League, visited Subotica last night, where they lost 31:26 to the hosts, Spartak, in a friendly match. The “Squirrels” will train this evening and then have two days off, before beginning the final part of their preparations on Monday, as the championship resumes on 30 January, when they host Partizan of Belgrade at their home arena. Experienced player Vuk Perović, returning to Crvenka, will also join the team on Monday, giving coach Vladimir Zejak a full squad at his disposal.

Sivac 69, members of the Super B League, played a friendly match against Jugović in Kać last night as part of their preparations for the second half of the season. The hosts won 33:26, although Sivac’s handball players had won the first half 16:14. According to Sivac coach Branko Žeželj, this was the first friendly match for his team, in which the result was secondary. All the players got a chance to play, and he was pleased with their performance during parts of the game. Sivac’s handball players will have another fitness test tomorrow, when they play Spartak in Subotica.
