The settlement of Nova Crvenka will soon have a completely replaced water supply network

Damjan Miljanić, President of the Municipality of Kula, visited the settlement of Nova Crvenka to announce the start of work to replace the remaining water supply network. During the previous period, the water supply network was replaced across half of the settlement, and the upcoming work will complete the project, giving Nova Crvenka a completely new water supply network. As a reminder, the Municipality of Kula was awarded approximately 28 million dinars to fund the project “Construction of the Water Supply Network in the Settlement of Nova Crvenka – Completion of Phase One and Phase Two”. The President of the Municipality, Damjan Miljanić, emphasized that Nova Crvenka is the smallest settlement in the municipality, but is far from being the place where the least investment is made, and that the water network investment will bring a comprehensive investment cycle to completion: “Today I had the opportunity to talk with residents here in Nova Crvenka about plans for the coming period. Most importantly, Nova Crvenka, as the smallest settlement, receives a new investment every year, which shows that problems are being addressed in phases even in the smallest places. In previous years, work was done on new children's playgrounds, sports grounds and road repairs, and earlier this year work was practically completed on renovating the bell tower and the area around the monument to the Thessaloniki volunteers. Work will continue this month; a contract has been signed with the contractor, and we expect them to begin replacing the remaining water supply network in the coming period. The work is worth around 28 million dinars, and completion of the water network replacement will bring this part of the project to an end. As a reminder, half of the work has already been completed, and the remaining part of the village still needs to be covered. This is a significant investment that will resolve a problem that has persisted for decades in the settlement of Nova Crvenka.” The public utility company Vodovod is engaged in maintaining the water supply network in Nova Crvenka. Rade Radmanović, a plumber at the company, said that around two kilometres of water supply network remain to be installed, and that the construction of a new well is very important. Once the work is completed, water pressure will also improve, and he believes residents will be very satisfied: “First, I would like to thank the President of the Municipality for allocating funds to complete an important project. Around two kilometres of water supply network remain to be installed. A new well has been built, which we will connect to the network, and we will also install new connections. The water is hygienically safe and suitable for use, and once the upcoming work is completed, the pressure will be better. I believe the residents will be satisfied.”
