Yesterday, the IPARD Programme (Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance for Rural Development) was presented in Kula. Slađana Gluščević from the Bačka Regional Development Agency briefed farmers on the programme’s implementation to date, shared experiences with applying for IPARD funding, and provided all the information needed to collect the required documentation. She announced that during April, May and June this year, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Serbia will accredit three new measures aimed at improving agricultural production in Serbia. These concern the purchase of machinery; construction of buildings, storage facilities and farms; and the establishment and equipping of orchards, greenhouses and polytunnels. The new measures also provide for investment in the construction and equipping of processing facilities (dairies, butcheries, fruit-processing facilities and wineries), while the third measure will concern the development of rural tourism.
The Office for Local Economic Development of the Municipality of Kula (Municipal Administration, office 311 or by phone at 025 751 189) will provide interested farmers with all the necessary information about the IPARD program.
The presentation was jointly organized by the Bačka Regional Development Agency and the Office for Local Economic Development of the Municipality of Kula.
