Crvenka’s handball players host Novi Pazar in the ARKUS Serbian Super League play-out. Crvenka are bottom of the table, while the visitors are safe, so if they want to preserve even the slightest chance of trying to avoid relegation in the remaining four play-out rounds, Crvenka must beat Novi Pazar. The Crvenka–Novi Pazar match will be played tomorrow at the Slobodan Čile Mišković Hall in Crvenka, starting at 18.
In the 16 round of the Super B League championship, Sivac’s handball players host Morava from Velika Plana. Sivac have suffered defeats in their last two league matches, so they will certainly want to end that unpleasant run on home ground. The match between Sivac and Morava from Velika Plana will be played in Sivac tomorrow, with kickoff at 19 hours.
The young Crvenka handball players, the Laki team, will have the weekend off. The Laki team was due to visit Radnički in Bajmok for a First League match, but the Bajmok team has withdrawn from the league, so the young Laki players are free. In the 19 round of the Second League championship, Krule from Sivac, who are top of the table, visit Deronje. Deronje are bottom of the table, and anything other than a convincing win for the Sivac team would be a sensation. The match between Deronje and Krule from Sivac will be played in Odžaci on Sunday and will begin at 19.
In the 29 round of the Serbian League Vojvodina Group, Hajduk will visit Pančevo, where they will face Dinamo. After two consecutive defeats, Hajduk have no choice: they must do everything they can to return from Pančevo with a positive result, as a possible third failure would once again put them among the teams fighting desperately to avoid relegation. Hajduk are aware of this and say they will give their all and take advantage of Dinamo’s far-from-ideal situation. The Pančevo club have, in fact, been left without a coach ahead of their match against Hajduk, and are in trouble because their electricity has also been cut off. The match between Dinamo and Hajduk will be played in Pančevo tomorrow, starting at 16 hours and 30 minutes.
In the 25th round of the Vojvodina League North Group championship, Crvenka’s footballers travel to Bačka Palanka, where they face Krila Krajine. It will be a clash between teams fighting to avoid relegation, so any result is possible. The Krila Krajine–Crvenka match will be played in Bačka Palanka tomorrow, starting at 16 hours and 30 minutes.
In the 24 round of the Sombor District League, Rusin host Borac from Obrovac in Ruski Krstur. Three consecutive defeats have undone Rusin’s excellent start to the spring season, so the match against Borac is an opportunity to make amends, at least to some extent. The match between Rusin and Borac from Obrovac will be played in Ruski Krstur on Sunday, starting at 16 hours and 30 minutes.
On Sunday, the 19 round of the Sombor Inter-Municipal League First Division championship is scheduled. Mladost host Aleksa Šantić in Kruščić, and only a win can give the Kruščić team hope of staying in the league. Lipar visit Hajduk in Stapar, while Sivac’s Polet will play away in Bački Breg, where they will face Dinamo. Our fourth representative, Kula, have a bye this round. All the scheduled matches will begin at 16 hours and 30 minutes.
In the final round of the First Serbian League play-off, Hajduk’s basketball players host Hercegovac from Gajdobra. The visitors have secured first place and promotion to a higher division, while Hajduk are in a safe position, so a true exhibition match can be expected, showcasing all that is beautiful about basketball. The match between Hajduk and Hercegovac from Gajdobra will be played tomorrow in the Petefi Brigade Primary School gym, starting at 19.
The final round of the First Vojvodina Volleyball League for men is scheduled for tomorrow. The table-leading Hajduk volleyball players will visit Klek, where they will face Klek Srbijašume 2. Kula need to win two sets to secure the championship title, and coach Milorad Lazić says his players are ready and eager to end the season with a triumph. The men’s match between Klek Srbijašume 2 and Hajduk will be played in Klek tomorrow, starting at 20. In the seventh round of the Second Vojvodina League, Hajduk’s women’s volleyball team will visit Žabalj. Hajduk’s women won in straight sets in the first half of the season and are in good form, so they are hoping for another win away from home. The women’s match between Žabalj and Hajduk will be played in Žabalj on Sunday, starting at 11.
In the 14th round of the Serbian First League – Vojvodina Group championship, Hajduk’s bowlers travel to Kljajićevo to face Vihor. The hosts share the top spot in the table, while Hajduk is last, though with several fewer matches played, which means Vihor’s bowlers are the favorites. The Vihor–Hajduk bowling match will be played in Kljajićevo on Sunday, starting at 15.
