Minister of Economy Adriana Mesarović visited Nova Crvenka, where she spoke with local women about everyday challenges and opportunities to improve quality of life. During a meeting with around twenty women, they discussed a wide range of topics, from infrastructure issues to projects that could improve living conditions in the community. The minister also announced concrete steps for the coming period, emphasizing the importance of opening a kindergarten, which, she said, would greatly make life easier for young families.
“I had the pleasure of joining a wonderful gathering with around twenty women in Nova Crvenka, where we talked about the challenges they face in their everyday lives. We also discussed how we can further improve quality of life in the community by building infrastructure, installing ATMs, and carrying out smaller but significant projects. A kindergarten is expected to open in the coming period, which will mean a great deal to young families, as they will no longer have to take their children to Crvenka and will be able to enroll them in Nova Crvenka instead. We also discussed building a chapel and other infrastructure issues. As a state and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, we will work to establish a clear schedule for delivering these projects and to ensure they are completed. In this way, we want to enable the residents of Nova Crvenka to have a higher quality of life, and encourage young people to stay here and build their future with their families. I am especially proud that mothers from large families were with us—women with four or five children who have decided to continue living here. This makes us even more duty-bound to provide them with better living conditions.”
One of the participants in the discussion, Mirjana Karalić, highlighted the importance of the visit and support from the national level:
“First of all, I have to say that Minister Adriana is, above all, a wonderful person and exceptionally empathetic, and only then an official. Her visit means a great deal to us, precisely because the policies of Aleksandar Vučić are being brought to the local level through the work of our minister. For that, I am extremely grateful.”
