Preparation of public spaces and picnic areas is under way

Kula Municipality President Damjan Miljanić said that all measures had been taken to prepare public spaces and picnic areas, although it is not yet known whether movement will be restricted during the May Day holidays. The public utility companies have been instructed, and the Municipality has allocated funds in its budget, to prepare all picnic areas and playgrounds for use. The areas are to be mowed and necessary repairs carried out, while “Ciklonizacija” will carry out tick control treatments in the coming period. Mosquito larvae control by air has already begun, and ground-based treatment will start in the coming days, Miljanić said. If the curfew is lifted, the picnic areas will be ready for use, concluded Kula Municipality President Damjan Miljanić.
