To bring arrangements into line with the measures prescribed by the Decree on Measures to Prevent and Suppress the Infectious Disease COVID-19, the Provincial Secretariat for Education, Regulations, Administration and National Minorities–National Communities has adopted amendments and supplements to the school calendar for primary and secondary schools located in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
These amendments provide for the first semester to end on 18 December, so the winter break will begin at the same time for students in Vojvodina and the rest of Serbia. Students will return to school on 18 January. The school year for eighth-graders will end on 8 June instead of 4 June. Students in grades one through seven will attend school until 22 June, rather than until 18 June as stipulated in the previous calendar.
For grammar school seniors, classes will end on 25 May instead of 21 May, while for students at three- and four-year vocational secondary schools, they will end on 1 June instead of 28 May.
