Social assistance recipients to receive 100 euros today

Payment of 100 euros into the accounts of around 160.000 citizens receiving financial social assistance begins today.

"On Thursday, we will pay 100 euros to 160.000 fellow citizens who receive financial social assistance," Serbia’s Finance Minister Siniša Mali announced earlier.

Payment of financial assistance amounting to 100 euros for all citizens who registered will begin on 25 May. Money will be paid daily into the accounts of around half a million citizens, Mali said on his Instagram profile. He expects all payments to those who registered for the 100-euro assistance to be completed at this pace by 1–2 June.

He reminded everyone that the application deadline is 5 June, and that those who apply on the final day will have the money paid into their bank accounts by 7 June.
