Provincial Agricultural Development Fund Calls for Applications

The Provincial Fund for Agricultural Development has announced loan programs for establishing perennial fruit orchards, purchasing new agricultural machinery (self-propelled and attached), and purchasing bee colonies, beehives, and beekeeping equipment in 2015.

Call for applications for loans to establish perennial fruit plantations

Funds will be awarded to agricultural holdings—individuals and legal entities from the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina that are registered in the Register of Agricultural Holdings.

Loans will be approved at an annual interest rate of 2%, with a currency clause applied, as follows:

– maximum loan amount 10.000 euros;

– the fund will not approve loans of less than 1.000 euros.

The application deadline is 12 October 2015.

Call for Applications for Loans to Purchase New Agricultural Machinery

Funds will be awarded to agricultural holdings—individuals and legal entities from the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina that are registered in the Register of Agricultural Holdings.

Loans will be approved at an annual interest rate of 2%, with a currency clause applied, as follows:

– the purchase of drive and attached machinery will be financed;

– maximum loan amount 20.000 euros;

– the Fund will not approve loans for amounts below 1.000 euros;

– For motorized equipment, a grace period of 6 months applies, with a down payment of 20%; interim interest will accrue during the grace period;

– for attached machinery, a grace period of 6 months will apply, with no down payment; interest will accrue during the grace period;

– loan repayment period: 60 months;

– Repayment will be made in six-month installments, with the first installment due after the grace period (a total of 11 installments).

The application deadline is 12 October 2015.

Call for Applications for Loans to Purchase Bee Swarms, Hives and Beekeeping Equipment

Funds will be awarded to agricultural holdings—individuals and legal entities from the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina that are registered in the Register of Agricultural Holdings.

Loans will be approved at an annual interest rate of 2%, with a currency clause applied, as follows:

– for the purchase of bee colonies, loans will be approved for a minimum of 1.000 euros and a maximum of 5.000 euros, with a grace period of 24 months (intercalary interest will accrue during the grace period) and a repayment term of 18 months; repayment will be made in six-month installments;

– for purchasing new standard beehives, loans will be approved for a minimum of 1.000 euros and a maximum of 5.000 euros, with a grace period of 24 months (intercalary interest will accrue during the grace period) and a repayment term of 18 months. Repayment is made in six-month installments;

– For the purchase of new beekeeping equipment, loans will be approved in a minimum amount of 1.000 euros and a maximum amount of 5.000 euros, with a grace period of 24 months (interim interest will accrue during the grace period) and a repayment term of 18 months. Repayment is made in six-monthly annuities;

– For the purchase of a truck with a trailer registered for beekeeping, loans will be approved in a minimum amount of 1.000 euros and a maximum amount of 5.000 euros, with a grace period of 24 months (interim interest will accrue during the grace period) and a repayment term of 18 months. Repayment is made in six-monthly annuities. After the loan is approved, the borrower is required to submit to the Fund a vehicle inspection certificate issued by an authorized institution within 90 days from the date the loan is disbursed.
