For many years, the Office for Local Economic Development has supported residents with calls for applications issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Provincial Secretariat for Agriculture. Miloš Danilov, head of the Office for Local Economic Development, says that a large number of calls are currently open, divided into two public calls—for livestock and crop production. These calls issued by the relevant Ministry are open until 28.02.2022.
For national grant programs, registered farms apply using equipment they have already purchased, submitting invoices dated from January 2021 through the application date. The Provincial Government has announced more than a dozen calls covering machinery, equipment, greenhouses, irrigation, hail-protection nets, and protection from adverse weather. Danilov says that applicants to the Provincial Government's calls may apply using either quotations or invoices dated from January 1 of the current year through the date of the call. These calls are open until 18 February this year. One current call provides grants and subsidies to young farmers; it is open until 4.03.2022 and offers reimbursements of up to 90%. Danilov noted that the calls provide for reimbursements ranging from 50% to 90%.
As for the National Employment Service’s calls for applications, the current public calls are for self-employment, employment, and employers wishing to provide training. A presentation will be held on Wednesday in the Small Hall of the Kula Municipality, where these calls will be explained to all interested parties, who will also receive answers and guidance concerning this type of application.
The Municipality of Kula’s Active Inclusive Service is run in cooperation with its partners, the “Plava ptica” Association for the Mentally Disabled and the Center for Social Work, and involves providing housing and economic empowerment for people with disabilities, young people leaving the foster care system, women who are victims of violence, and families in poverty. This project will provide for sixteen families. The project will run until 15 October.
