One-time assistance is being paid today to 1,7 million pensioners

Pensioners will receive a payment of 5.000 dinars each today, the Ministry of Finance confirmed to Tanjug.

All 1,7 million pensioners will receive assistance of 5.000 dinars.

In addition, pensions will be increased by 5,9 percent from 1 January, in line with the Swiss formula for pension adjustments.

The Swiss formula provides for pensions to be adjusted once a year by 50 percent in line with inflation and 50 percent in line with wage growth.
