In athletics, another in a string of successes for “Hajduk” competitor Sergej Kostić. At the Serbian Indoor Championships for younger juniors, Kostić first placed fourth in the 1500 meters, running the distance in 4 minutes, 28 seconds, and 37 seconds, before earning a place on the podium in the 3000 meters, finishing second. Kostić ran this distance in 9 minutes, 34 seconds, and 76 hundredths of a second. With this result, Kostić continued his successful run, and there is no doubt that “Hajduk Marathon Team” has an athletics prodigy on its roster.
