Football clubs from Kula Municipality are preparing for the spring part of the season and using friendly matches to assess their progress in training so far.
Serbian League team Hajduk 1912 played a friendly match last weekend against Sloga from Čonoplja, leaders of the Vojvodina League. The match ended goalless, although Hajduk had several good chances, especially in the second half, but young Božović and Slijepčević were not composed enough. Hajduk will have their next fitness test on Saturday, when they host Tekstilac from Odžaci in Kula.
Crvenka’s footballers, members of the Vojvodina League, played a friendly match against Tvrđava from Bač in front of their supporters. Crvenka claimed a narrow 1:0 victory, with Šakić scoring the only goal. On Saturday, Crvenka will be back on the pitch, hosting Kordun from Kljajićevo at their home ground.
District League side Rusin beat Kula 1:0 in Ruski Krstur. Nemanja Kulić scored the only goal. Rusin’s footballers will play their next friendly match against Lipar on 16 February.
In a friendly match between clubs from the first division of the Sombor Intermunicipal League, played in Kruščić, Sivac’s Polet beat hosts Mladost 6:1. Kaluđerski and Nićetin scored twice for Polet, while Marković and Žujović scored one each. Rabrenović scored for Mladost. Polet will have another fitness test tomorrow, when they face Kordun in Kljajićevo, while Mladost will host Polet on Sunday, most likely in Kruščić again.
